We were asked to design a Hawaiian shirt for someone celebrating an easygoing island getaway, wanting a print that felt both classic and personalized. The brief called for bold white hibiscus blooms layered over dark monstera leaves, paired with golden paintbrush accents and a custom mark worked subtly into the repeat pattern. Our team laid the black background first to let the crisp white florals pop, then scattered warm mustard-gold blossoms and a stylized emblem throughout for a touch of individuality. A single chest pocket and coconut-style buttons finished the piece, keeping it wearable and true to authentic tropical shirt tailoring. The result is a striking black, white and gold Hawaiian shirt that balances relaxed beach spirit with a personal signature.
