Introduction

This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how you can return products or receive refunds from Made To Team LLC. Because all our products are 100% custom-made to your specific design and specifications, our return and refund options are limited.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By ordering from Made To Team, you acknowledge and accept this Return & Refund Policy.


1. Custom Products - No Standard Right To Return

1.1 All products are custom-made

Every product we create is 100% custom-made to order based on:

  • Your specific design
  • Your selected colors and patterns
  • Your chosen sizes
  • Your requested logos and text
  • Your approved specifications

1.2 No right to change your mind

Because products are custom-made specifically for you:

(a) You do NOT have the right to return products simply because you changed your mind

(b) Custom products cannot be resold to other customers

(c) This is permitted under US consumer protection laws for personalized and made-to-order goods

1.3 What this means

Once you approve your design mockups and we begin production, you are committed to purchasing the products unless they are faulty or we made an error (see Section 2).


2. When You Can Return Or Get A Refund

2.1 We accept returns or provide refunds ONLY in these situations:

(a) Manufacturing defects:

  • Products have quality issues or defects caused during production
  • Stitching is faulty or comes apart
  • Prints are smudged, cracked, or peeling
  • Colors are significantly wrong due to our production error
  • Fabric has defects or damage

(b) Products don't match approved specifications:

  • Products materially differ from the design mockups you approved
  • Wrong sizes were produced (not wrong sizes selected by you)
  • Wrong colors were produced (not color variations from screen displays)
  • Missing logos or design elements
  • Significant errors we made in production

(c) Damaged during shipping:

  • Products arrive damaged due to shipping mishandling
  • Package was clearly damaged in transit

(d) Late delivery:

  • Delivery exceeds our estimated delivery date by more than 60 days due to issues within our control

3. What We Do Not Accept Returns For

3.1 These are NOT valid reasons for returns or refunds:

(a) Change of mind:

  • You no longer want the products
  • You decided on a different design after approval
  • Your plans changed

(b) Incorrect size selection:

  • You selected the wrong sizes for your team members
  • Products don't fit because sizes were chosen incorrectly
  • It is your responsibility to select correct sizes using our size charts

(c) Color variations:

  • Minor differences between colors shown on your screen and actual product colors
  • All screens display colors differently
  • This is normal and not a defect

(d) Design errors YOU approved:

  • Spelling mistakes that were present in the mockups you approved
  • Logo placement you approved but later dislike
  • Colors you selected but changed your mind about
  • You are responsible for carefully reviewing mockups before approval

(e) Minor fabric variations:

  • Slight color variations between production batches
  • Minor differences in fabric texture
  • These are normal in textile manufacturing

(f) Delayed approval:

  • You took too long to approve mockups
  • You were unavailable to make decisions
  • You didn't provide required information on time

4. How To Request A Return Or Refund

4.1 Time limit

You must report any issues within 21 days of receiving your products. We cannot accept return or refund requests after this period unless the defect was not reasonably discoverable within 21 days.

4.2 Contact us immediately

If you believe you are eligible for a return or refund, email us at hello@madetoteam.com with:

(a) Required information:

  • Your name and order number
  • Date you received the products
  • Detailed description of the problem
  • Clear photos showing the issue

(b) For damaged items, include photos of:

  • The damaged products (multiple angles)
  • The outer packaging showing damage
  • The shipping label
  • Any items affected

(c) For defective items, include photos of:

  • The defect or quality issue (close-up and full view)
  • Comparison to the approved mockup (if claiming wrong production)
  • All affected items

4.3 Our review process

(a) We will review your request within 5 business days

(b) We may ask for additional information or photos

(c) We will notify you whether your return/refund request is approved

(d) If approved, we will explain the next steps


5. Approved Returns - What Happens Next

5.1 You typically do NOT need to return items

For most approved returns, you do not need to ship products back to us. This is because:

  • Return shipping from the US to Vietnam is expensive
  • Custom products cannot be resold to others
  • It's faster to resolve your issue without waiting for returns

5.2 Our resolution options

If we approve your return/refund request, we will choose one of the following remedies:

(a) Replacement products (our preferred option):

  • We will remake the affected products at no cost to you
  • We will ship replacements via standard shipping at our expense
  • Replacements typically ship within 2-3 weeks (standard production time)
  • You keep the original products

(b) Partial refund:

  • Appropriate for minor issues that don't require full replacement
  • We will refund a portion of your order value
  • Amount depends on severity of the issue

(c) Full refund:

  • For significant issues where replacement isn't feasible
  • We will refund the full product cost
  • We will refund original shipping costs (if the issue was our fault)
  • Refund processed within 7 business days

5.3 We decide the remedy

Made To Team will determine the most appropriate remedy based on:

  • The nature and severity of the issue
  • Whether remake is practical
  • Timeline considerations
  • Your preferences (we'll ask what you prefer)

6. Cancellations Before And After Production

6.1 Cancellation before design approval

If you wish to cancel before approving your design mockups:

6.2 Cancellation after design approval but before production

If you cancel after approving mockups but before we begin production:

  • $100 restocking fee to cover design work and administrative costs
  • Remaining amount refunded within 7 business days
  • Email hello@madetoteam.com to request cancellation

6.3 Cancellation after production begins

If you cancel after we have started manufacturing your products:

(a) If you paid 100% upfront:

  • We will refund 50% of the order value
  • This covers materials and labor already invested
  • 50% retained to cover production costs incurred

(b) If you paid only 50% deposit:

  • No refund provided
  • Your deposit covers materials and labor invested

6.4 Cancellation after shipping

Once your order has shipped:

  • No cancellations accepted
  • No refunds provided except for faulty products as described in Section 2
  • You will receive the products you ordered

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Refund timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days from our approval decision.

7.2 Refund method

Refunds are issued using your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund appears in 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
  • PayPal: Refund appears in 1-3 business days
  • Bank Transfer: Refund appears in 7-14 business days (depends on your bank)

7.3 Refund amount

For approved refunds, we will refund:

  • Product cost (full or partial depending on issue)
  • Original shipping cost (if issue was our fault)
  • Any applicable taxes

We do NOT refund:

  • Return shipping costs (if you chose to return items)
  • Restocking fees (where applicable)
  • Costs for upgraded services you selected

7.4 Deductions

We may deduct from your refund:

  • Restocking fees (if applicable - see Section 6)
  • Costs for products damaged due to your mishandling
  • Reasonable costs we incurred for your order

8. Wrong Size Orders

8.1 Your responsibility

You are responsible for selecting the correct sizes for all team members.

We provide detailed size charts on every product page with:

  • Measurements in inches and centimeters
  • Fit descriptions (regular, athletic, relaxed)
  • Sizing comparisons
  • Measurement instructions

8.2 We recommend

(a) Have each person measure themselves or refer to size charts

(b) When in doubt, size up for more comfortable fit

(c) Double-check all sizes before submitting your order

(d) Verify sizes again when approving your design mockups

8.3 No refunds for wrong size selection

We do not provide refunds or exchanges if:

  • You selected the wrong sizes
  • Team members measured incorrectly
  • Products don't fit as expected because sizes were chosen incorrectly

Exception: If we manufactured wrong sizes that differ from what you ordered and approved, we will remake the products at no cost.


9. Color Differences

9.1 Screen color variations are normal

(a) Colors displayed on computer screens, phones, and tablets vary significantly

(b) Screen brightness, settings, and technology affect color appearance

(c) Your screen may display colors differently than actual fabric colors

(d) This is normal and not a defect

9.2 We cannot match screen colors exactly

We cannot guarantee that product colors will exactly match what you see on your screen. Minor color variations between screen display and final products are expected and not grounds for returns or refunds.

9.3 Production color matching

We will match colors to your approved mockups to the best of our ability using industry-standard color matching processes. Minor variations in shade or tone are normal in textile production.

9.4 When color IS a refund reason

We will provide a refund or replacement if:

  • Colors are significantly wrong due to our production error
  • Colors don't reasonably match the approved mockups
  • There was a clear mistake in color production

"Significantly wrong" means: Colors are obviously different (e.g., you approved navy blue and received bright red), not minor shade variations.


10. Damaged Products

10.1 Inspect immediately upon delivery

When your package arrives:

(a) Inspect the outer packaging for damage

(b) If the box is damaged, note this when signing for delivery or take photos

(c) Open the package and inspect products immediately

(d) Check for any damage, defects, or missing items

10.2 Report damage within 7 days

Damage claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery:

(a) Email hello@madetoteam.com immediately

(b) Include:

  • Order number and tracking number
  • Photos of damaged items
  • Photos of damaged packaging
  • Description of what is damaged

10.3 Do not discard packaging

Keep all packaging materials until your damage claim is resolved. The carrier may need to inspect the packaging.

10.4 Resolution

For shipping damage:

  • We will file an insurance claim with the carrier
  • We will send replacement products at no cost, OR
  • We will issue a full refund
  • Resolution typically within 10-14 business days

11. Defective Products

11.1 Manufacturing defects

If products have manufacturing defects such as:

  • Faulty stitching that comes apart
  • Prints that peel, crack, or fade immediately
  • Fabric defects or tears
  • Missing design elements
  • Significantly wrong colors due to production error

11.2 Report within 21 days

Manufacturing defects must be reported within 21 days of delivery with photos and description.

11.3 Normal wear and tear

We do NOT cover:

  • Damage from normal use over time
  • Fading after multiple washes
  • Minor wear after wearing products
  • Damage caused by improper care (e.g., hot water, bleach, harsh detergents)

11.4 Care instructions

Follow care instructions on product labels or our website to maintain quality:

  • Machine wash cold
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Do not bleach
  • Iron on low if needed (avoid printed areas)

Damage from not following care instructions is not covered.


12. Missing Items

12.1 Report immediately

If items are missing from your order:

(a) Check your Order Confirmation to verify what was supposed to ship

(b) Check all packaging carefully - items may be wrapped separately

(c) If items are confirmed missing, email hello@madetoteam.com immediately with:

  • Order number
  • Description of missing items
  • Photo of what you received

12.2 Resolution

For confirmed missing items:

  • We will investigate immediately
  • We will ship missing items at no cost within 2-3 weeks
  • We will provide tracking for the new shipment

13. Special Circumstances

13.1 Force majeure delays

If delivery is delayed due to events outside our control (natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, etc.):

  • We will keep you informed
  • We will take reasonable steps to minimize delays
  • You may cancel and receive a full refund if delay exceeds 60 days

13.2 Our errors

If we make an error in your order:

  • We will fix it at no cost to you
  • We will remake products or provide a full refund
  • We will cover all costs including shipping
