We were approached by Fairwinds Technologies to create a branded Hawaiian shirt that could serve as a sophisticated yet relaxed team uniform for a company retreat. They requested a refined, understated palette — soft ivory and cool silver-grey — paired with a hand-sketched island landscape featuring towering palm trees, volcanic peaks, and serene coastal scenery that felt timeless rather than tropical-loud. The Fairwinds Technologies logo, rendered in deep navy blue with its distinctive crescent and dot motif, was positioned proudly on the chest pocket to ground the design with a sense of professional identity. What emerged was a shirt that balanced corporate pride with laid-back elegance, giving the whole team a cohesive look that felt both memorable and effortlessly stylish.
