We were approached to create a custom Hawaiian shirt that could carry a bold streetwear identity into a relaxed, resort-ready silhouette — and that is exactly what the Siglo brief demanded. The team was asked to weave the Siglo wordmark repeatedly across the garment using a gothic-style typeface, ensuring the brand stayed front and centre no matter the angle. Working exclusively within a monochrome palette, our designers layered dramatic black backgrounds with grayscale hibiscus blooms, towering palm trees, misty mountain ranges, and a lone surfboard emerging from still coastal waters. Every element was carefully balanced so the tropical scenery felt lush and immersive without ever overshadowing the repeated Siglo branding that anchors the whole composition. The result is a shirt that sits confidently at the intersection of island ease and urban edge — exactly the statement piece the brief called for.
