A charter boat company on Kauai came to us wanting a shirt that felt like the ocean itself — playful, salty and full of island spirit. They asked for the classic Ocean Charters Kauai logo placed right on the chest pocket, paired with a palette of deep blues, warm oranges and soft cream. Along the way, the design evolved further: the birds were reworked into the iwa, or great frigatebird, a seabird native to Hawaiian skies, while the rugged cliffs were redrawn to echo the unmistakable ridges of the Na Pali coastline. Marlin, whale tails, coral reefs and fishing boats were woven throughout, capturing the daily rhythm of a Kauai charter crew out on the water. The result is a shirt that tells the story of the island's coast as much as it represents the brand itself.
