We were asked to design a Hawaiian shirt for an aviation enthusiast who wanted to blend two loves: classic tropical style and a nod to bomber jets soaring over the islands. The brief called for a deep navy background, so we layered in bold red and white hibiscus blooms alongside soft blue palm fronds and volcano silhouettes for that authentic aloha feel. Tucked subtly among the florals, we sketched in silhouettes of a sleek bomber jet, flying low over the mountains as a quiet tribute to the wearer's passion. The result is a rich navy shirt that reads as pure vacation wear at first glance, with a hidden aviation story woven into every panel.
