We were approached by a devoted football family who wanted to honour a meaningful military tradition — 'Aloha Fridays' — a weekly ritual of wearing Hawaiian shirts to lift spirits during deployment, a custom their coach husband proudly carried home and continues every single week. The request was deeply personal: a custom Hawaiian shirt celebrating the MV Yellow Jackets football programme, blending the spirit of that tradition with team pride. The client asked for bold orange and black as the foundation, the iconic 'M' school emblem repeated across the fabric, the spirited orange Yellow Jacket bee mascot in action, footballs scattered throughout, and motivational words — 'Feared,' 'Fast,' 'Team,' and 'Jackets' — woven into the pattern. We brought it all together against a dramatic black hexagonal backdrop layered with tropical monstera and palm fronds in striking white, creating a shirt so well-loved that the head coach requested an entire set for the coaching staff — turning one family's tradition into a team-wide Friday ritual.
