A client from Foster Dual Language PK-8 came to us wanting a workwear-friendly Hawaiian shirt inspired by the warmth of Disney's Encanto, something staff could wear proudly at school yet still look sharp enough for the office. After an early draft, the feedback was clear: keep it simpler and more professional, with the tropical blooms confined to one side and the school's roadrunner mascot logo balancing the other. We built the design on a soft cream base, letting cascading hibiscus flowers, emerald leaves and fluttering butterflies bloom down the left panel while the right side stays clean and crisp. The Foster mascot, a spirited red-and-gold roadrunner, sits embroidered-style above the chest pocket alongside the 'Dual Language PK-8' wordmark, giving the piece a polished, spirit-wear finish. The result is a shirt that honors the Encanto-inspired floral theme without overwhelming it, striking that sweet spot between tropical fun and everyday professionalism.
