We were asked to design a Hawaiian shirt for someone who wanted their favorite tropical getaway look turned into a personal keepsake, complete with their own smiling face woven right into the print. The brief called for a classic island palette: deep navy blue monstera leaves layered across a crisp white ground, with bursts of pink hibiscus blossoms scattered throughout for that unmistakable tropical warmth. To make it truly one-of-a-kind, we placed the customer's custom face photo repeatedly across the shirt, peeking out from behind the oversized leaves like a fun island snapshot. The result is a relaxed, button-up shirt with a chest pocket that feels both playful and personal, ready to be worn to a beach party or gifted as a laugh-out-loud surprise.
