We were approached to create a Hawaiian shirt that would make a 70th birthday cruise celebration truly unforgettable — a wearable keepsake that the whole group could wear with pride on the open water. The brief called for a soft, breezy light blue base layered with lush watercolour hibiscus blooms in bold red, pink, and yellow, alongside sweeping tropical palm fronds and a sun-kissed palm tree motif at the centre. Repeated throughout the design, the birthday honouree's face was printed across the shirt in a playful, affectionate pattern — a signature touch that Made To Team has become known for — alongside a custom script that reads "Cruising 70th" in elegant black lettering. Every element came together in a design that felt both festive and sophisticated, perfectly suited for a milestone moment at sea.
