We were approached to create a Hawaiian shirt that would capture the essence of a laid-back tropical getaway — something that felt genuinely sun-soaked and full of life. The brief called for a pattern built around freshly cracked coconut halves, showcasing their rich brown husks and bright white flesh, scattered generously across the fabric in a natural, almost playful arrangement. To ground the design in lush island atmosphere, sweeping palm fronds in deep teal and sage were woven throughout, layering beautifully against soft aqua stripe washes that evoke a breezy shoreline. At Made To Team, we brought these elements together into a seamless all-over print — bold enough to turn heads at a beach party, yet cohesive enough to wear with confidence wherever the tropics call you.
