A crew chief reached out to us wanting shirts for the end-of-season safety barbecue, something his linemen would actually wear off the truck. He asked for hi-vis yellow — the same shade as their traffic vests — stamped with the crew's rallying phrase, "Blue Collar Dollar", arched above a utility pole in bold black. From there we built the repeat around the tools of the trade: hard hats, rubber gloves pressed palm to palm, buckets of pliers and tape, and climbers strapped mid-pole with bolts of current in their fists. Real forked lightning was painted across the fabric in white and pale blue so the whole shirt looks charged, right down to the chest pocket that carries the emblem all on its own. It came back louder than anyone expected, which was exactly the point.
